Vinyl Flooring Cons

  • Unlike hardwood or laminate having vinyl floors installed is unlikely to increase the value of your home.
  • Thinner vinyl is rather susceptible to accidental ripping and gouging. For high traffic areas thicker vinyl is a must.
  • When considering vinyl flooring , take the average climate in your area into consideration. Higher levels of humidity can cause subfloors to expand and contract which may affect the appearance of your vinyl floors after just a short while.
